WIP limits
Kanban's central concept is the Work In Progress (WIP) limit: a maximum number of tasks in each column at once. Limiting WIP prevents overload, reveals bottlenecks and speeds up delivery.
If the 'In testing' column piles up and exceeds its WIP limit, it signals a QA bottleneck: the team should help clear it before starting new work.
