Documenting quality
Confluence (also by Atlassian) is a collaborative documentation tool. QA uses it to write test plans, strategies, checklists, evidence and testing campaign summaries, all linked to Jira issues.
- Reusable templates (test plan, defect report).
- Pages linked to Jira issues.
- Version history and comments.
- A single source of truth for the team.
Documenting is not bureaucracy if the documentation is useful and kept alive: a good test plan in Confluence saves meetings and misunderstandings.
